2024 dobiega końca, za kilka godzin przywitamy nowy rok. To idealny moment aby podsumować ostatnie dwanaście miesięcy na blogu.
Najważniejszym wydarzeniem na blogu była oczywiście jego reaktywacja. Po ponad 3 latach przerwy, w styczniu blog zaczął nowe życie pod nazwą MiniAutomobile. Długo zastanawiałem się, czy trzymać starą nazwę czy zmienić ją na nową, ale koniec końców uznałem że tzw. „rebranding” będzie lepszym wyborem.
Kilka miesięcy później, wczesną wiosną, natrafiłem na dość poważny problem. Platforma z której korzystałem od samego początku, czyli Blogger, przestała odpowiednio działać. Praktycznie z dnia na dzień blog stał się niewidoczny dla wyszukiwarek internetowych. Zdjęcia i artykuły które do tamtej pory pokazywały się w wynikach wyszukiwania, zniknęły. Tak samo jak blog. Niby istniał, lecz prawie nikt nie mógł na niego trafić. Miesiące poszukiwań i prób reanimacji nie przyniosły żadnych rezultatów. Nie wiedziałem co się popsuło i jak to naprawić.
Latem podjąłem decyzję o zmianie strony hostingowej. Przenoszenie bloga okazało się gigantycznym wyzwaniem. W internecie wszyscy oczywiście mówią, że to łatwizna, ale ja mam inne doświadczenie. Proces przenosin i dostosowywania bloga tak naprwadę jeszcze się nie skończył. Zostało jeszcze wiele rzeczy do zrobienia. Pomimo tego, muszę przyznać, że dzięki tym (wymuszonym) zmianom blog wygląda teraz o wiele atrakcyjniej.
Pomimo trudności, w 2024 roku udało mi się opublikowć rekordową liczbę wpisów – aż 46! Pod tym względem to jak na razie najlepszy rok. Na blogu zdecydowanie królowały samochody Renault. Aż 25 wpisów było poświęcone tej marce. Nie powinno to dziwić, gdyż to właśnie ta marka stanowi największą część mojej kolekcji. Druga największa część mojej kolekcji to polskie samochody, i one były też drugie pod względem liczebności na blogu. Zdecydowanie najpopularniejszym modelem na blogu okazał się Polonez MR’89 z Legend FSO.
2024 to na blogu również czas debiutów; po raz pierwszy opisałem marki Alpine, Buick i ZAZ. Były też powroty; po 13 latach na blogu zagościł Ford i Toyota a po 7 Mazda.
Jeśli chodzi o aspekt czysto modelarski, to 2024 też był dla mnie rekordowy. Powiększyłem kolekcję o wiele modeli w najpopularniejszych skalach; 1:43, 1:24 i 1:18. Zacząłem też montaż Syreny 105 w skali 1:8. Będę relacjonował przebieg jej budowy, więc jeśli ciekawi was postę w pracach – zapraszam do obserwowania. Zarówno tutaj, jak i na Facebooku i Instagramie.

2024 is coming to an end, in just a few hours we will welcome the new year. It’s the perfect moment to look back at the last twelve months on the blog.
The most important event on the blog was, of course, its revival. After more than three years of inactivity, the blog began a new life in January under the name MiniAutomobile. I spent a long time debating whether to keep the old name or change it, but in the end, I decided that a so-called “rebranding” would be the better choice.
A few months later, in early spring, I encountered quite a serious problem. The platform I had been using from the very beginning, Blogger, stopped working properly. Almost overnight, the blog became invisible to search engines. The images and articles that had previously shown up in search results disappeared—just like the blog itself. Technically it still existed, but almost no one could find it. Months of searching and trying to revive it gave no results. I didn’t know what had gone wrong or how to fix it.
In the summer, I decided to switch hosting platforms. Migrating the blog turned out to be a huge challenge. Everyone online says it’s easy, but I had a rather different experience. The process of moving and adjusting the blog hasn’t really ended yet. There are still many things to be done. Despite this, I must admit that, thanks to these (forced) changes, the blog now looks much more attractive.
Despite the difficulties, in 2024 I managed to publish a record number of posts—46 in total! In this regard, it has been the best year so far. The blog was dominated by Renault cars, with 25 posts dedicated to this brand. This shouldn’t be surprising, as it is the brand that makes up the largest part of my collection. The second-largest part of my collection consists of Polish cars and they were the second most featured on the blog. Undoubtedly, the most popular model on the blog turned out to be the Polonez MR’89 from Legendy FSO partwork series.
2024 on the blog is also a time of debuts; for the first time I wrote about Alpine, Buick and ZAZ. There were also some comebacks; after 13 years Ford and Toyota appeared on the blog and aftet 7 years, Mazda.
As far as the modeling aspect goes, 2024 was also a record year for me. My collection expanded with many models in the most popular scales—1:43, 1:24, and 1:18. I also started assembling the Syrena 105 model in 1:8 scale.
