Oto najnowszy wypust Noreva w skali 1/43 – Renault Rafale Presidential State Car, czyli samochód prezydencki.
Francuzi to dumny naród. Nie dziwi więc, że mając kilku rodzimych producentów samochodów, wykorzystują ich do zaopatrzenia w rządowe limuzyny. Wszystkie największe francuskie marki – Citroën, Peugeot i Renault – dostąpiły w jakimś momencie tego zaszczytu. Ta ostatnia, po raz pierwszy w 1920 roku, kiedy prezydenckim samochodem stało się Renault 40CV. Potem, były mi.in. 25, Safrane i Vel Satis. Ostatnim Renault które dołączyło do tego elitarnego grona zostało w 2024 roku Rafale.
Wszystko dla Monsieur Président
Oczywiście, Renault Rafale Emmanuela Macrona nie jest tym Renault Rafale, które zwykły, szary człowiek może sobie kupić. O wyjątkowość prezydenckiego auta Renault zadbało wspólnie z Pałacem Elizejskim i francuskimi rzemieślnikami.
Bazę wyjściową stanowiło topowe, 300-konne Renault Rafale E-Tech 4×4. Zwiększono jednak jego długość i rozstaw osi, zmieniono nastawy zawieszenia na bardziej komfortowe oraz oczywiście gruntownie go opancerzono. Wszystko fajnie, ale tym co najbardziej imponuje, jest dbałość o wyjątkowy styl prezydenckiej limuzyny.
Zacznijmy od zewnątrz. Znajdziemy tu subtelne detale jak grill w barwach francuskiej flagi i emblematy z francuską flagą przy przednich drzwiach. Prezydenckie Rafale wyróżnia też unikatowy lakier „Bleu Présidence” („Błękit Prezydencki”). Nie tylko wykorzystuje technologię ograniczającą pochłanianie ciepła nawet o 10°C, ale też mieni się francuskimi barwami narodowymi w pełnym słońcu, dzięki trójkolorowym drobinkom.
Jeszcze bardziej imponujące jest wnętrze auta, bo Francuzi naprawdę poszli tutaj na całość. Na desce rozdzielczej, kierownicy i między siedzeniami zastosowano wstawki z marmuru pirenejskiego „Noir Grand Antique”. Za obróbkę i dostosowanie tego czarnego marmuru z białymi żyłkami do samochodowego wnętrza, odpowiedzialna była francusko-włoska firma Minéral Expertise.
W iście prezydenckim wnętrzu nie mogło oczywiście zabraknąć drewna. W przypadku Rafale, postawiono na ciemne drewno bukowe. Misterne intarsje są dziełem artysty ebenisterii Ludovica Avenela. Całości dopełnia specjalnie grawerowana tapicerka z najwyższej jakości naturalnej skóry i dodatkowe wygłuszenie wnętrza.
Renault Rafale po raz pierwszy pojawiło się jako oficjalny samochód prezydencki 14 lipca 2024 roku, podczas obchodów Święta Narodowego Francji.
O miniaturze – Renault Rafale Presidential State Car
Norev wypuścił model Renault Rafale Presidential State Car niecałe dwa tygodnie temu – w piątek 28 sierpnia. Autko dotarło do mnie na początku tego tygodnia. W porównaniu do pozostałych Rafale, w oczy od razu rzucają się unikatowe detale; lakier „Bleu Présidence”, grill w barwach francuskiej flagi, emblematy przy przednich drzwiach oraz francuską flagę. Warto zaznaczyć też autentyczną rejestrację GY 654 AG – dokładnie taką jak w prawdziwym prezydenckim samochodzie. Ogólnie, te szczegóły dodają autku bardzo fajnego charakteru.
Niestety, z modelem jest jeden duży problem.
Tak jak pozostałe Rafale od Noreva, model prezydencki korzysta z tego samego odlewu, i to jego największa wada. Wszakże prezydenckie Rafale jest dłuższe i ma większy rozstaw osi! A model Noreva jest, niestety, wymiarowo identyczny ze zwykłym Rafale. Przyznam, że gdybym nie robił researchu do artykułu, to bym się nie zorientował. Research jednak zrobiłem, zdjęcia widziałem i nie odzobaczę – wymiary są złe.
Oczywiście, to nie koniec świata, autko świetnie pełni rolę modelu poglądowego. Jednak merytorycznie jest błędne i to wielka szkoda, bo Norev zaprzepaścił szansę na bardzo ciekawy model dla koneserów.

Here’s Norev’s latest release in the 1/43 scale – the Renault Rafale Presidential State Car.
The French are a proud nation. So, it’s hardly surprising that, with several home-grown car manufacturers at their disposal, they turn to them when choosing official state cars. All of France’s major car brands — Citroën, Peugeot and Renault — have all had the privilege of serving the presidency. Renault first received this honour in 1920, when the Renault 40CV became the official presidential car. It was followed over the years by models such as the 25, Safrane and Vel Satis. The latest Renault to join this elite group was the Rafale in 2024.
Anything for Monsieur Président
Of course, Emmanuel Macron’s Renault Rafale is not the same Renault Rafale that the mere mortal can buy. Renault worked together with the Élysée Palace and French artisans to make the president’s car truly unique.
The starting point was the top-of-the-range 300-horsepower Renault Rafale E-Tech 4×4. Renault then increased its overall length and wheelbase, adjusted the suspension settings for a more comfortable ride and added comprehensive armouring. That’s all well and good, but what’s really impressive is the meticulous attention to the unique style of the presidential limousine.
Let’s start on the outside. The car features subtle details such as a grille finished in the colours of the French flag and French tricolour emblems on the front doors. The presidential Rafale is also distinguished by its unique “Bleu Présidence” (“Presidential Blue”) paintwork. Not only does it use technology that reduces heat absorption by as much as 10°C, but it also shimmers with France’s national colours in direct sunlight thanks to its tricolour metallic particles.
The interior is even more impressive, because the French really did go all-out here. The dashboard, steering wheel, and centre areas between the seats are adorned with inserts crafted from “Noir Grand Antique” Pyrenean marble. The task of shaping and adapting this distinctive black marble, characterised by its white veining, for use inside a car was given to the French-Italian company Minéral Expertise.
A truly presidential interior wouldn’t be complete without wood, of course. In the Rafale, the choice fell on dark beech wood. The intricate inlays were created by the master ébéniste Ludovic Avenel. The cabin is completed by specially engraved upholstery from finest natural leather, along with additional sound insulation.
The Renault Rafale made its first appearance as the presidential state car on 14th July 2024, during the Bastille Day celebrations.
About the miniature – Renault Rafale Presidential State Car
Norev released the Renault Rafale Presidential State Car model less than two weeks ago — on Friday, 28 August. The model got to me at the start of the week. Compared with the other Rafale models, the unique details immediately stand out: the “Bleu Présidence” paintwork, the grille finished in the colours of the French flag, the emblems on the front doors, and the French flag itself. It is also worth mentioning the authentic registration plate, GY 654 AG — exactly the same as on the real presidential vehicle. Overall, these details add a great deal of character to the model car.
Unfortunately, there is one big problem with it. Like the other Rafale models from Norev, the presidential version uses the same casting, and that is its biggest weakness. After all, the presidential Rafale is longer and has a longer wheelbase! Unfortunately, Norev’s model is dimensionally identical to the standard Rafale. I have to admit that if I had not done the research for this article, I probably would not have noticed. But I did the research, I saw the photos, and now I cannot unsee it — the proportions are wrong.
Of course, it is not the end of the world; the model still works very well as a representation of the real car. However, from a factual standpoint, it is inaccurate and that is a great shame, because Norev missed the opportunity to create a genuinely interesting model for the real enthusiasts.
