Peugeot 2008 to jeden z najpopularniejszych SUVów segmentu B. Jego drugie wcielenie bardzo wydoroślało. Jest większe, agresywniejsze i chce być bardziej premium.
Drugą generację modelu 2008 przedstawiono 19 czerwca 2019 roku. Peugeot ogłosił też wtedy swoje ambitne plany w stosunku do swojego nowego dzieła. Samochód przesunięto w kierunku segmentu premium, aby konkurował z modelami pokroju Audi Q2 i Mini Countryman. Choć tak jak poprzednik bazuje na platformie modelu 208 (w tym przypadku jest to nowa platforma CMP, wykorzystana w 208 II), to stylistyką całkowicie się różni. Na zewnątrz 2008 bardzo przypomina większe 3008. Pełno tu ostrych cięć i kątów a przód zdominowany jest przez trójwymiarowy grill i typowe dla nowych Peugeotów światła do jazdy dziennej w kształcie kłów.
Auto jest masywniejsze od starego 2008 nie tylko z wyglądu, ale również pod kątem faktycznych wymiarów. Najbardziej zwiększyła się długość (+ 145 mm, mierzy teraz 4304 mm) i rozstaw osi (+ 112 mm, mierzy teraz 2650 mm). Do 1765 mm, czyli o 26 mm, zwiększono też szerokość nadwozia . Zmiany poskutkowały większą przestrzenią w środku i pojemniejszym bagażnikiem (434l, poprzednik mieścił 350 l).
W środku Peugeot zastosował nową generację swojego wynalazku, i-Cockpit. Futurystyczna deska rozdzielcza z trójwymiarowymi wyświetlaczami to znak rozpoznawczy nowych modeli Peugeota. Jest wykonana z bardzo dobrych materiałów i zdecydowanie wygląda “premium”. Niestety, ergonomia nie jest jej najmocniejszą stroną.
W Peugeocie 2008 do wyboru są napędy benzynowe, wysokoprężne a także elektryczne. Silnik benzynowy to 3-cylindrowy turbodoładowany 1.2 PureTech w trzech wariantach mocy: 100, 130 i 155 KM (najmocniejsza odmiana dostępna tylko z ośmiobiegowym automatem i zarezerwowana dla topowej wersji GT). Diesel 1.5 BlueHDi oferowany jest w dwóch wariantach mocy: 100 i 130 KM. Wersja elekrtryczna, zwana e-2008, wykorzystuje 155-konny motor elektryczny i akumulator 54 kWh. Jest to też najdroższy model w całej gamie.
Pomimo, iż przesunięcie 2008 w kierunku segmentu premium spowodowało znaczny wzrost cen, nie spowolniło to sprzedaży. Wręcz przeciwnie, model okazał się jednym z najpopularniejszych nowych samochodów w Europie. Aby utrzymać zainteresowanie, w 2023 roku przedstawiono 2008 po lifitingu w którym największe zmiany to odświeżony przód samochodu oraz mocniejszy i wydajnieszy napęd elektryczny.
O miniaturze – Peugeot 2008 GT
Prezentowany tutaj Peugeot 2008 GT to modelik firmy Norev. Szczęśliwie, nie jest to uproszczona wersja budżetowa, tylko dobrze wykonana kolekcjonerska. Dlatego też nie mamy tutaj takich głupot jak plastkiowe kółka czy odlane lusterka. Opony są gumowe, lusterka poprawne – wszystko jest takie, jakie być powinno. Widać tu dbałość o szczegóły.
Typowo dla Noreva na uznanie zdecydowanie zasługuje lakier. Jest równy i bez skaz a sam kolor – pomarańczowy Fusion – wygląda świetnie na modeliku i bardzo dobrze koresponduje z czarnym panoramicznym dachem. Pięknie wykonane zostały również emblematy i oznaczenia modelu.
Ogółem, uważam że miniaturka Peuegot 2008 GT Noreva jest bardzo dobra. Generalnie nie ma słabych punktów. O ile prawdziwy samochód mnie nie zachwyca, o tyle modelik bardzo mi się podoba. To był zdecydowanie dobry zakup!

The Peugeot 2008 is one of the most popular B-segment SUVs. Its second iteration has grown up a lot. It’s bigger, wilder and wants to be more premium.
The second generation of the 2008 was unveiled on 19th June 2019. With it, Peugeot also announced its ambitious plans for its latest creation. The car was moved upmarket, to rival the likes of Audi Q2 and Mini Countryman. Although, just like its predecessor it’s based on the 208 (in this case it’s the new CMP platform, used on the mk2 208), its design is totally different. On the outside the 2008 resembles the larger 3008. It’s full of sharp creases and angles, while the front-end is dominated by a three-dimensional grille and fang-shaped daytime running lights typical for new Peugeots.
The car is bulkier than the old 2008 not only in terms of looks, but also actual dimensions. It mostly grew in length (+145 mm, it now measures 4304 mm) and wheelbase (+112 mm, now measuring 2650 mm). The width was also increased, by 26 mm to 1765 mm. The changes resulted in a more spacious interior and a bigger boot (434 litres, the predecessor carried 350 litres).
Inside, Peugeot uses a new generation of its invention, the i-Cockpit. The futuristic dashboard with three-dimensional screens is a trademark of Peugeot’s new models. It’s got a very high build quality and certainly has a “premium” look. Unfortunately, the ergonomics are not its strongest asset.
The Peugeot 2008 offers a choice of petrol, diesel as well as electric powertrains. The petrol engine is a three-cylinder, turbocharged 1.2 PureTech coming in three power outputs: 100, 130 and 155 hp (the most powerful variant is only available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is reserved for the range-topping GT spec). The 1.5 BlueHDi diesel is offered in two power outputs: 100 and 130 hp. The electric model, called the e-2008, uses a 155 hp electric motor and a 54 kWh battery. This is also the most expensive model in the whole line-up.
Although moving the 2008 upmarket caused a big increase in price, it didn’t slow down the sales. In fact, the model turned out to be one of the most popular new cars in Europe. To keep the interest up, a facelifted 2008 was introduced in 2023, with the biggest changes including the freshened front fascia as well as a stronger and more efficient electric powertrain.
About the miniature – Peugeot 2008 GT
The model shown here is Peugeot 2008 GT by Norev. Thankfully, it’s not in a simplified budget finish, but the high collector’s standard. That’s why we don’t get any silly things here, such as plastic wheels or cast wing mirrors. The tires are made from rubber, the wing mirrors are correct – everything is as it should be. You can certainly see the attention to detail here.
Typically for Norev, the paintwork certainly deserves a praise. It’s even and without blemishes, while the colour itself – Fusion Orange – looks great on the model and corresponds very well with the black panoramic roof. The badges and model emblems were also beautifully made.
Overall, I think that the miniature of Peugeot 2008 GT by Norev is very good. Generally, it has no weak points. While the real car doesn’t amaze me, I like the model car a lot. It certainly was a good buy!
