Renault Master E-Tech 2024 (Norev)

Renault Master jest na rynku od 1980 roku. Przez ten czas sprzedał się w liczbie ponad 3 milionów sztuk. W listopadzie 2023 roku zaprezentowano nową, czwartą generację tego francuskiego dostawczaka. 

Dostawczaki rządzą się swoimi prawami, dyktowanymi praktycznością, więc w nowym Masterze nie ma mowy o jakichś nowych, wyszukanych kształtach. Bryła pozostała typowa dla samochodów dostawczych, w wyglądzie zmieniono jednak tyle, ile było możliwe. Całkowicie przeprojektowano przód. Podniesiono linię maski, zwiększono rozmiar wlotu powietrza a przednie światła otrzymały charakterystyczne „kły”. Jest też wielkie, nowe logo Renault. Z tyłu zmiany są subtelniejsze. Górna część nadwozia została lekko zwężona aby poprawić aerodynamikę, a tylne światła mają nowy kształt. 

Nowe Renault Master oparto na zupełnie nowej platformie, dostosowanej do napędu spalinowego, elektrycznego a także wodorowego. Na początek, do wyboru będą diesle BluedCi w mocach: 105, 130, 150 i 170 KM oraz wersja elektryczna w dwóch wariantach mocy: 96 kW lub 105 kW. Napęd wodorowy wejdzie do sprzedaży w późniejszym terminie.

Nowy model ma przeprojektowaną przednią oś, dzięki czemu promień skrętu zmniejszył się aż o 1,5 m. Aerodynamikę modelu dopracowywano w tunelu aerodynamicznym – poprawiono ją o 20%, co wpłynęło na zmniejszenie zużycie paliwa i emisję CO2. Kierowcy będą też mieli do dyspozycji 20 zaawansowancyh systemów wspomagających i monitorujących.

Master będzie oferowany w bardzo licznych wariantach i konfiguracjach nadwozia, oferujących przestrzeń ładunkową o kubaturze od 11 do 22 metrów sześciennych. Kliecni będą też mieli do wyboru 7 standardowych kolorów nadwozia i ponad 300 odcieni specjalnych!

O miniaturze – Renault Master E-Tech

Miłośnicy Renault żyli sobie spokojnie, latami czekając z utęsknieniem na nowe „renówki” od Noreva w dobrej kolekcjonerskiej jakości. WTEM! Norev wypuszcza nowego Renault Master E-Tech. W dobrej kolekcjonerskiej jakości! 

To bardzo miła niespodzianka, po całej masie mniej lub bardziej uproszczonych modeli Renault od Noreva. Nie wiem czym kierowała się firma, żeby to akurat Mastera wypuścić w dobrym wykonaniu, a nie np. nowe R5 czy Rafale. To jednak bez znaczenia. Cieszy fakt, że Norev w końcu wydał pełnoprawny model Renault.

Modelik ma więc gumowe koła (nie plastikowe) i felgi wykonane z osobnego elementu. Lusterka boczne są dobrze odwzorowane i też są osobnymi elementami – nie odlanymi razem z resztą nadwozia, co Norev nagminnie robił w przypadku Renault.

Proporcje nadwozia są dobre, detale wiernie odwzorowano a lakier jest równo i czysto położony. Na ten moment, jedynym dostępnym kolorem jest zielony Agave. W modeliku  znalazłem  jeden minus – to brak lusterka wstecznego. 

Miniaturka Renault Mastera E-Tech od Noreva jest bardzo dobra. Nie mam jednak złudzeń, że to zwiastun jakichkolwiek zmian. Norev najpewniej znowu wróci do robienia uproszczonych miniatur Renault. Cieszę się więc, że modelik nowego Renault w dobrej jakości w ogóle się ukazał. Na kolejny możemy długo czekać.

Renault Master is on the market since 1980. In that time, it sold over 3 million units. In November 2023, a new, fourth generation of the French van was revealed. 

Vans have their own rules, dictated by practicality, so in the new Master there is no space for any new, fancy shapes. The typical van-shape therefore remains. However, the design was changed as much as possible. The front-end was completely redesigned. The bonnet height was increased, the grille was enlarged and the headlight have a distinctive “fang” shape. There is also a huge, new Renault badge. At the rear, the changes are a lot more subtle. The top portion of the van has been made narrower to improve aerodynamics, while the lights have a new shape.

The new Renault Master is based on a brand new chassis, developed for multiple powertrains; ICE, electric and hydrogen. At first, there will be a choice of four BluedCi diesels, delivering 105hp, 130hp, 150hp or 170hp outputs and a fully electric model with two motor powers: 96 kW or 105 kW. Hydrogen powertrain will become available at a later date.

The new model has a redesigned front axle, which allowed the turning circle to decrease by 1.5 m (that’s a lot). The aerodynamics of the model were fine tuned in a wind tunnel – they were improved by 20%, leading to a drop in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Drivers will also benefit from 20 advanced assistance systems

The new Master will be available in a vast range of bodytypes, with load area capacity from 11cu m to 22cu m. The customers will also be able to choose from 7 standard body colours as well as over 300 special hues!

About the miniature – Renault Master E-Tech

For years, Renault enthusiasts lived their lives peacefully, longing for new “Rennies” from Norev in a good collector’s quality. SUDDENLY… Norev releases the Renault Master E-Tech. In a good collector’s quality!

It’s a very nice surprise, after a whole load of Renault models from Norev that were simplified in one way or another. I don’t know what the brand’s thinking was when they specifically picked to release the Master in a top-level quality, rather than the new R5 or the Rafale. But really, it doesn’t matter. The fact that Norev finally released a fully-fledged Renault model is good enough.

Therefore, the model car has rubber tyres (not plastic) and wheels done from a separate element. The wing mirrors are precisely replicated and they are two a separate elements – not cast with the rest of the body, which is something Norev did notoriously for Renaults. 

The body proportions are good, details well replicated and the paintwork is even and clean. At the moment there is only one colour avaliable, the Agave green. The only flaw I found in this model is the lack of a rear-view mirror.

The Renault Master E-Tech Norev miniature is a very good one. However, I am under no illusion that it is a sign of any changes. Norev will most likely return to making simple models of Renaults. So I’m just happy, that a model of a new Renault in a good quality was even released. We might be waiting a while for the next one.
