After an absence of four years, Opel resurrected the Tigra nameplate in October 2004, for a small convertible roadster based on the 3rd generation Opel Corsa. Tigra was sold in Australia as Holden Tigra, in the UK as Vauxhall Tigra and in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina as Chevrolet Tigra. In Europe, the Tigra was sold with 2 petrol engines: 1.4 TwinPort (90 PS) and 1.8 Ecotec (125 PS). In 2005 a small 1.3 CDTI (70 PS) diesel was added to the range.
Opel Tigra Twin-Top won the Convertible of the Year 2006 award.
Opel stopped manufacturing the Tigra in September 2009. This was due to the poor sales, mainly caused by an expensive price of the car.

Opel Tigra Twin-Top otrzymał tytuł Kabrioleta Roku 2006. Opel zaprzestał produkcji Tigry we wrzesniu 2009 r. ze względu na niską sprzedaż spowodowaną w głównej mierze wysoką ceną.
