In the previous post about my trip to the Autoworld Museum (link here), I mentioned a word or two about the model shop that was there. As a decent collector, I couldn’t just walk past it. I had to explore. The choice of models turned out to be big, but the prices weren’t particularly good, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise. I was however shocked with the seller’s attitude. You would think that in a Western country, especially in a place like the museum, the customer service will be of a high standard. In this particular case – absolutely not. I haven’t come across such a brusque and boorish seller in ages. Fortunately for me and him, I did manage to find a model that was on my “To buy” list. Moreover, its price was actually pretty decent, so owning the burgundy Renault became a reality.
I already have one post-facelift Renault 25 (article on it HERE), but it was a slightly simplified version. Its biggest drawback was the lack of the chrome finishing around the windows. The model presented today has them, which for me, improves the perception of the model. Additionally, we have a grey interior (instead of a black one) and the TX guise (instead of GTS). In effect, we get a very elegant-looking miniature. Somewhat disappointing is just the unnatural positioning of the wing mirrors. Despite this, I like this model a lot. Take a look at the pics!
Kiedyś coś pisałem, że nie lubię Noreva? Patrząc na tę miniaturę zaczynam lubić;) świetny modelik, wspaniale pokazany:)
Pozdrawiam:)
Tak, tak pisałeś. Norevy będą się pojawiały na blogu często, więc będzie szansa aby się zapoznać i zaprzyjaźnić 😉
Pozdrawiam
